2020 Winter Open House is a Great Success

On February 6th, members of the public were welcomed to join the Kingsville Essex Associated Band for our 2020 Winter Open House. Despite some not so pleasant winter weather and questionable road conditions, we saw a pretty good turn out. Welcome to our newest band members that joined the KEAB family that night!

The Open House is an event that the band holds twice a year. For one night, the band welcomes those who are interested in getting involved with our organization the opportunity to come to a rehearsal and try out the various classes and element first hand. This includes hands-on time with our majorettes, colour guards, drum line and even the band (if you bring your instrument). It is also a chance for parents to speak with members of our leadership team, asking any questions they may have.

At the end of the evening, all of the elements come together for a full marching demonstration.

Thank you to the volunteers and members of the Band Executive that worked hard behind the scenes to organize and execute this season’s event. We would also like to thank the KEAB Instructors and Membership for welcoming all of our guests with the warmth and friendliness that characterizes our organization.
